How to say goodbye to New York City?

It is likely to be impossible, but I will be trying just that over the next 12 days.  I will be leaving NYC to attend a grad school program in Massachusetts and I will be only returning to NYC during breaks and holidays.  And who knows what will happen after grad school?  I hope to make it back here again, with family and friends living in and around NYC, I know I will come back eventually.  I have roots here that I can’t ever forget.  It goes back to my great grandparents… one of my great grandfathers helped build the Lincoln Tunnel and another emigrated through Ellis Island from Russia settling in the Lower East Side.  New York City, you will always be a part of me.
